This is a dangerous intersection next to a park and down the street from an elementary school. Please review this intersection (AGAIN) for the safety of our neighborhood and residents and turn it into a 4-way intersection.

I agree with the others. I go through this intersection four times a day and always hesitate because you don't know going either way. This would also help with student trying to cross the street for the school and the going to the bus stop. Very dangerous. Please change this from a two-way stop to a four-way stop.

I take a risk everyday crossing the street here with my two dogs. They also needs a 4 wsy stop sign on Stanford and college. Constant drivers doing donuts and racing on this intersection with kids playing in the street.

A 4-way traffic (thru stop) is URGENTLY NEEDED on this dangerous intersection. I am one who nearly got hit there long time ago.

Vic, I have now contacted the Mayor in regards to this since we aren't able to get much accomplished through here. I recommend everyone who wants to have this issue fixed, to contact the Mayor.

Can we please have an update? We'd like another survey done, since school starts up again before long. Lots of kids playing at the park since it's summer and they are forced to cross a 4 way with only 2 way signs. If this is not handled by this department, please direct me to the correct one.

I posted this 570 days ago, and there have been several more accidents in this exact location since. Any updates?

Traffic Engineering has done a stop sign warrant check on this intersection twice in the last 18 months. Unfortunately this intersection does not meet the criteria to have an all-way stop installed.

The traffic volumes and number of correctable collisions were not high enough to qualify the location for additional stop signs. We are having a state run safety program take a look and make recommendations. They will be conducting a field visit in a few weeks.

If the city is not doing what it OUGHT TO DO, then hound the Mayor and City Council until THEY make it work.
