Description

The Edgewater at Sandy Springs has not fixed their trash receptacle. They think they fixed the problem by placing a door for a compactor, but when the compactor is full, nobody has any place to put their trash except on the outside. The compactor is locked so only maintenance crew can work it. But it needs to be done everyday. I believe there are other solutions to this problem. When people dump their trash on the outside of the receptacle, it draws in rodents, coyotes, insects, and everything else looking for trash (possums, raccoons). It's disgusting to look at every day.
