Description

A speed bump is needed to slow traffic on 45th street. Drivers regularly speed down this street since there are no speed bumps. This is of particular concern since there are many families with small children living on this street and also, Emerson Elemenatry and Oakland Tech are located on this street. It is also problematic that many of the drivers are high school students who are speeding / racing after school- at the same time the elementary students are leaving school. We have had serious accidents on this street in the past year, and a speed bump is the least we can do to protect these children.
