This report was filed under illegal dumping. It is to my understanding the the streets in this area are being paved from June thru September. A notice was left on each house in the month of May 2016. The illegal dumping on this street must be stopped. It seems to me Mayor Turner is more concerned with the "Super Bowl" than the public out cry about this illegal dumping which is located 1 block from Dogan Elementary school. This illegal dumping trash, in the street, ditches filled with water breeding and infestation of dangerous MOSQUITOS. My concern is not the condition of the streets because that project of street and road pavement is underway.
The Historic Fifth Ward needs much more attention. The Councilman for this district has not been doing his Job he was elected to do. Which I believe is Jerry Davis. I have called his office, supervisor at waste management even the drivers who pick up heavy trash are not being supervised properly. Cameras need to be installed in this area so the dumping individuals can be caught, and given a mandatory 3year probation and community service picking up trash all over the city. A program needs to be set in motion immediately.
