Description

Light on Governor's at Lowery/Harvard: Can we get a protected turn lane on the E/W sides of this light on Governor's?

HHS students are having trouble taking a left on Gov. West, because Hospital people are turning left at Turner/Silvey and blocking the Harvard turn lane.

The HHS students then make it impossible for eastbound Governors to turn left at Lowery when they turn left at Sewanee Rd. and block the turn lane. I'll also bet the residents of Sewanee aren't particularly happy about the students racing through their neighborhood just to turn back to Harvard.

If the left turn lanes are dedicated to Harvard/Lowery as suggested below, making Sewanee and Silvey/Turner no-left-turns from the middle-lane, then things would go much, much smoother - HHS traffic won't be blocked from turning at Harvard, and Hospital traffic can start using Lowery, or go further up to Montgomery to turn instead of snarling traffic at Silvey.
