Issue Acknowledged - Assigning to Parking Manager

Nice to know the issue was "acknowledged", but I do not consider that a reasonable response. And yesterday, the same thing happened. There were many available spaces in the garage, and still one of the entrances (the one I tried to use first) had a "lot full" sign across it. Is there a good reason for these signs? Is there a good reason why they lie to the public? I would like some sort of real response, please.

This response was given on 8/26/16 - Good morning. The two entrances to the Marketplace garage are occasionally closed for different reasons. In the event of a mechanical failure, ticket jam, or other intermittent interruption we will close the down the effected ticket machine until our maintenance personnel can respond from one of the three downtown garages and work to correct the issue. In those cases we will keep the other entrance open as long as it is functioning properly and place signage in the non-functional lane indicating the lane is closed. In the case of a full garage, garage staff attempt to maintain a buffer quantity of open spots in the garage instead of allowing the garage to become completely full such that cars are backed up at the entrances.
