Description

There is a open hole in the street where there should be a cover. Some one has taken the cover/part and placed it on the sidewalk. I think it might have something to do with Mecklenburg water dept., but it needs to be reinstalled in the street.

this is a private community and would need to be reported to property management. Charlotte Water doesn't maintain this area behind the gate. Thanks,

The hole is not in the burning tree community. It is on Rae Rd, at the corner of Rea Croft Dr. Just south of Colony Rd.

As info the cast iron piece was put back into the street but a cover is needed. The hole is still exposed.

The hole is still open. It has not been fixed/covered.

The hole is associated with a missing water valve cover. The City of Charlotte is working to resolve this issue. In the future, I recommend contacting City County Customer Service at 704-336-7600 to report this type of issue.
