Description
The vacant lots adjacent to 1337 N 185th are severely overgrown with blackberry bushes. The bushes are providing a perfect habitat for rats and raccoons. Additionally, the they are starting to overtake our driveway. The bushes are also spreading to our property. As such, we formally request that the City of Shoreline remove the blackberry bushes to remove this nuisance.

We do not have authority on maintenance (over grown vegetation) of private property. It is the responsibility of the property owner to maintain there property. The street is also a private street so we do not have authority if the vegetation is growing into the private street.

How can I contact the owner? It is a vacant lot. Do you have the contact information?
They are creating a community nuisance that is affecting multiple households. Don't we have rights as property owners that are being infringed upon?
In the past, the City has come out and cleared the property, so there is a precedent for this request.

You may contact the King County Accessor office for the name and address of the owner.
The City did issue a demolation permit for these four properties. The demolition was done by a private contractor and not the City.
