Description
Nice pedestrian mitigation for the sidewalk closure on the east side of Broadway before Coronado, but there appears to be no mitigation for the closure of the northbound Broadway bike lane. What's the plan supposed to be here? This is already a pretty hairy location for bike riders, even with the bike lane open, so please adjust this and all construction mitigation with every project in Oakland to keep bike/ped facilities open whenever possible, even if that means closing a travel lane to cars. Portland just approved a new city standard to do just this , and there's no reason why Oakland can't as well.
