This would not be the first time a road "repair" on Liberty has left the bike lane in dangerous condition. Is there no post-repair quality control that the City could exercise?

I would agree, there are certainly different parameters for what makes a safe roadway. Dumping asphalt down with the assumption that bikes will pack it down or cars will drive in the bike lane and tamp it down are wrongheaded. If the contractors can't get there on there own, please point them in the right direction. If the bike lanes are unusable, there is little point in having them.
