I agree and isn't great that the traffic calming on Clark Ave. " would get looked at" after the Cresent project at Cameron Village was approved? The only "look" was to "look the other way".

Last night at approximately 9:40 pm a car yielded for my friend and I and we started to cross the street. Half way across the crosswalk an RPD police car driven by what appeared to be a female officer was coming in the opposite directions. The RPD vehicle had headlights on and there is no way they did not see us in the crosswalk. The police failed to yield to us, flying past us, leaving us stranded between two moving lanes of traffic. How on earth does the RPD think they are going to educate citizens about the rights and responsibilities of pedestrians and motorists if the police officers themselves are not abiding by the law? I am absolutely appalled by the driver of that police vehicle.
