Description

I'm wondering why there isn't a blinking yellow Left turn arrow for cars that are coming down Winthrop and trying to make a left turn onto Rt 16. The sign says to yield on green, but no one obeys that, and usually about 3 cars continue to turn, even as the green arrow disappears. Other similar intersections either have a red L arrow, or a blinking yellow, which are more obvious. The problem is the cars heading north on Winthrop have to deal with cars either blocking the intersection because they failed to yield, or there are near collisions because north-bound cars have the right of way and start driving, only to find that the oncoming traffic is not yielding. Is a blinking yellow possible here? Again, it seems like it could be an easy fix. Thanks so much.
