Description

Drivers headed east on Wayside frequently attempt u-turns between the Houston Inn and the Title Max strip center (across from the Wal-Mart). Unless they're in a Trailblazer or Jeep Liberty, the U-turners have to stop, reverse, back up and put it in drive again to complete their turn. They end up completely blocking both westbound lanes of Wayside and occasionally reverse into the left eastbound lane. It is extremely dangerous for westbound drivers who need to abruptly come to a complete stop if they aren't paying attention or even those who are simply driving the speed limit. During AM & PM rush hours, when intersection traffic is backed up, it also causes a lot of confusion and unnecessary congestion. Can we please get some signage or patrol coverage to deter this hazardous action? It occurs so frequently that someone was attempting this u-turn as I was taking the photo for my report.
