Description

Tree roots in front of #61 side of the property in front of 61 Hathorne Street have caused the sidewalk to lift and crack in several locations. The tree in front of #61 Hathorne needs to be removed and stump grinded in order to stop the roots from causing further damage and the concrete needs to be repaired after, the roots are also getting into the sewer and water lines in my property. The sidewalk is now damaged - lifted and cracked in several places between the properties of 59-61 and 63 Hathorne Street. The mailman has tripped, handicap persons cannot walk over it, and the cracking/lifting damage also abuts the driveways between these two property's also known as Dade Court. Cars cannot safely pass over the lifted area.
The two homeowners, myself being one, have called on numerous occasions about the issue over the past 5 years and are told we are on a waiting list.
the problem has worsened and the issue is now coming into my home and the neighbors believe this is a safety hazard and has been for the past 5 years since we began reporting this.
