Yes it is getting crazy. Even my dogs are disturbed when walking by this urban 'meadow' grass is nearly 2 feet tall now. Leaves are still there from Fall 2015

I was hoping this property would be mowed/cleared prior to Memorial Day weekend. It is an embarrassment when friends and family come by to visit and when entertaining outdoors.

When is this lot going to be cleaned? Every year we go through this and it takes forever to get it cleaned up. The property was posted but the property owner isn't around to see it, besides the grass is growing higher than the posting. This is out of hand.

So, at 10:00 AM this morning, a DGS pickup truck pulled up to this lot. The driver, who was wearing a yellow safety vest, got out of the truck and walked up to the posting. He looked at it then got in his truck and he left. Still not cleaned up.

I provided Mayor Sheehan with a list of concerns at the SANA meeting held at the Plumeri Sports complex on April 25, 2016. The lack of maintenance at 128 Kenosha St. was one of the concerns and another was the deplorable conditions of the street signs in our neighborhood. It is now very clear that the focus of the meeting was mainly to hear Mayor Sheehan's vision for Albany and not for Mayor Sheehan to hear or consider the concerns of the SANA community. It has now been over one month since I informed the Mayor about the ongoing issue with 128 Kenosha St., to no avail. I also reported the overgrowth of this property on this web site back on on May 19. To date the property STILL has not been mowed or cleared of debris. It is embarrassing and unacceptable. The grass and weeds have now reached the height of the DGS posting sign (see photo) I would like to encourage all neighbors affected by this eyesore to contact the Mayors office for a resolution.

The grass and even many of the weeds are now higher than my dog is tall. The 5 day notice that was posted weeks ago is falling off the tattered board to which it is taped. No action seen yet.
