A homeless encampment is not fair to the neighborhood of Turner and North Ascot Highlands. People pay a premium in property taxes. Please clean up the open lot; it is attracting rodents, flies, and other animals and insects because of the filth, garbage, feces, urine, vomit. Aside from the filth, it is also a fire hazard. This cannot be allowed to grow into a village.

I reported this issue about a month ago to SeeClickFix. Can someone explain to me why this is taking so long to correct? There are obviously health dept. issues that need to be addressed immediately. How about the city cleaning up this mess and then bill Solano Community College!

This issue is being addressed by the police department. Since this is located on private property, there is due process involved, which takes time. We drove past the newly-installed fence and we saw a couple of homeless entering with two carts full of garbage! Solano College or VPD need to do something. This is not fair to the hardworking taxpayers who live in the communities of Belvedere, Hyde Park, Tiara, and Ascot Highlands. Short of contacting the Mayor's Office, what actions need to be done?
