Description
Pole 4875 has a rectangular floodlight aimed at 196 Boston Ave. This is the kind of light that "washes" the whole side of a building. Not clear if it is up to Cummings Properties at 196 to maintain, but it sure is buzzing loudly. Pole is located in the alley/driveway behind 184 Boston Ave near where the U-Haul driveway crosses the fenceline to become 196 Boston Ave's alley/driveway.

Actually, the City of Somerville's preferred method of entering a streetlight repair request is either calling 311 or using SeeClickFix (which was integrated into 311). This is different from how Medford, Arlington, and the DCR choose to handle it, and this is important to know
The SCF interface for Somerville Streetglights specifically asks in its own little box for the pole number and what the pole is made of (see the custom-configured Q&A questions above, because it's been custom-configured for Somerville.
The City of Somerville has agreed with Eversource that Somerville do these fixes on Somerville City streets.*
*If you're on a DCR parkway in Somerville (such as MVP by Dilboy), then DCR, not Somerville calls the shots and lightbulb issues do go to Eversource via https://www.eversource.com/Content/ema-e/residential/programs-services/street-light-repair-request

Ultimately, the business or enterprise is responsible for the service, maintenance, and repair of these😃

In any event, as a rather frequent monitor of the issues at hand (which personally I limit to the town I actually live in) I would expect that our paths have crossed before and further believe that you yourself have CLOSED issues I have posted in the past based soley on YOUR opinion.
However, I never posted or accused you of anything least of all "stalking" - so please, enough with the drama
I will leave your issue "open". Hopefuly you can manage to not harass me or flag my posts moving forward. (It's really hampering the progress we could be making!) let's let the appropriate departments and people close the issues. Let's also let the city planners and engineers design and engineer as they should. As there is hardly money to repair potholes and missing/wrong signs, I'd expect less available funding to proceed with your construction plans.- it's called "see click fix".... Not "see click re-engineer"
Your light issue is still open
I suggest you don't accuse me online or make false accusations of me again.

Good Afternoon,
This issue is on private property and does not belong to the city. Thank You
