I jst wanted to get in my picture of a third block of Branciforte. I'll be working on pictures of the next three blocks -- all in just as terrible condition -- and post them when done. RE: Street Markings , as these pictures show, the painted STOP signs on the street have long been weathered away, but in addition, the asphalt under the letters S, T, O, and P have also been washed away leaving a sort of "bas relief" effect. Not so much street engineering, and more street archaeology! P.S. I have higher resolution pictures if you need to check the details.

For 24 years, I bicycled Branciforte St, negotiated the ever widening and deepening pot holes. This year, a section of roadbed literally collapsed under me, broke my bike, and came close to breaking my back.
A friend suggested SEECLICKFIX, said "It gets quick results", so I tried it. Only result I've seen so far was when a city employee called me a "troll" and accused me of misusing SEECLICKFIX. Well, so-called Civil Servants, if you want to see me disappear from this site, you can start by fixing Branciforte Street -- and not just outside my house, but the entire six blocks of it from Tennessee to Carolina.
Bike Skills 101 should not require a prerequisite on: "Avoiding Cars When they Swerve to Avoid the Potholes".
