Description

the parking lot at the rear of 1017 woodbine has been unmaintained for over two and a half decades. The adjacent alley is worse, though laughingly small patches are applied sparatically during summer months. The crumbling surface breaks loose two inch deep chuncks, which the local children enjoy throwing, and the multitude of people who use the alley trip over regularily. Once a dusting of snow comes, its like walking in mine field, as you never know when your foot is going to drop that extra two inches or UP two inches where the debris has settled. It is a high traffic alley, since Woodbine is not the place parents want to walk with children and strollers. One woman broke her leg as a direct result of the poor tarmac, but did not persue it with the building. letters have had not effect. residents fear repercussions for complaining.
