Description

During the morning rush hour between the hours of 7am and 8am, the traffic signals going south between Virginia Beach Blvd and Highway 264 are not timed to allow a for adequate flow of traffic. In that approximately, mile stretch of road, there are 3 or 4(can't remember) traffic signals . When one light is green, the next light is still red so traffic is stagnated at a green light because the next light is still red. Then by the time that light turns green, the light you are sitting at turns red. It takes about 10 minutes to get to the highway on this little stretch of road. While on the other side of the road, there is very little traffic. Can the timing of the signals align a little better to allow for a better flow of traffic and to allow the actual red, yellow and green signals to be more useful?
