From 7-9 am cars travelling east on Sheppard are not allowed to turn right at Shaughnessy. However cars travelling west can turn left during the same time period. Cars travelling south on Shaughnessy can proceed directly through the intersection. The police regularly sit on Shaughnessy and ticket people. For residents of Henry Farm this means they cannot access the Farm from Shaughnessy during this period. I spoke with an officer about this who responded they were keeping traffic flow low due to the school in the neighbourhood. This conversation was last week; schools are closed! I feel this is an unfair practice and the police regularly sit in wait.
