I live on Kenny ave between Merrick rd and Annette ave .We are short block of twelve houses it is used as a cut thru when ever the traffic builds up on Merrick road. We have 17 small children on this block I have gone around and had all my neighbors sigh a statement to have Kenny ave made into a one way street facing south.I sent the letter to the Town Of Hempstead certified mail return receipt. I was informed by the Town Attorney Anthony Boccella that this could not be done according to the traffic engineers.I also received two letters from the town of Hempstead one from Kate Murray town supervisor and the other from Angie Cullin councilwomen if I needed any assistance with my case # TH-143/12 please call. Well this all sounds good but nothing has been done.We still have the speeding cars flying down the block. Someone living on Kenny ave is going to get hurt REALLY COULD USE SOME ( HELP ) WITH THIS.
