A big clean up project took place about 3 weeks ago--several big orange bags of litter. Thank you, if it was Palmetto Pride. Of course, the trash has built up again. I talked to the property managers of Crestwood Forest, and they are going to try to organize some clean ups, and get out themselves to set an example for picking up litter. They have mostly elementary school children there and so can't involve them in the actual picking up of litter, but they will also have environment lessons for them, encouraging them not to litter and to tell the adults in their families not to do so either.
I still would like some Palmetto Pride signs with the phone number to report Litterbugs, to post on my property.
