Description
There are Numerous POT HOLES that are more than 12 inches deep and they are on both sides of the road making it difficult driving down State Road 711 (Carr Lane) in Hayes, Virginia. This road needs to have the pot holes filled and resurfaced because of the heavy equipment tearing up the surface. Two layers of Tar and Gravel would make this road usable again.

Don't know why I'm responding to this as know one ever reads these comments.....
This whole State Road Route 711 needs to be resurfaced NOW. There are so many repairs to the old POT HOLES that its hard to drive down this road. School Buses, and Garbage trucks have made this road worse than ever before. There's money to put down new Sidewalks on Old Highway 17 that no one uses but no money to repair a state road? WOW get with it Gloucester County VDOT lets get this road resurfaced.

It was reported to VDOT Gloucester that a sinkhole has formed at the corner of Route 711 (Carr Lane) and 256 (Glass Road) 2 weeks ago and the crew patching Glass Road rode right by this sinkhole and did nothing about it. It's 14 inches wide and 14-16 inches deep. I guess when we send VDOT our car repair bills maybe VDOT will get off their @#$% and fix the entire road. Water in the drain pipes under the road have caused this sinkhole. FIX IT NOW.

A VDOT Gloucester crew came in last week and patched the Route and even stated that the road needed to be resurfaced with Asphalt so its in such bad condition that even VDOT workers are complaining. NOW THAT's BAD. Can we get this road resurfaced with ASPHALT?
