Description

McKay St is badly in need of attention.

It's dark and dangerous at night. A tree completely blocks a streetlight over the sidewalk. Sidewalks are cracked, pushed up, and covered in leaves. Tree litter is over the curb in some places. Trees hang down too low. The entrance is unsightly and needs maintenance. The dog litter bag dispenser is stuffed with dog droppings. There's a utility cable hanging down within public reach.

Seriously, it's a mess.

After two months of nothing this is the most disappointing response.

Who owns the street and why isn't the city making them maintain it properly?

Is it going to take another person getting hurt before the city does something about it?

Do I need to call the mayor's office to get a proper answer?

Dear Mr Ray You should call the Mayor's Office , the Property owner should be fined for neglecting their property . Private mean Private , would you mind if I was to help myself with your Private property , can't have it both way , I am not a City Employee , they would not be allowed to speak their minds . I do pay taxes here to maintain public property not private properties ,
