Description

Northbound California St. drivers on the bridge are at the mercy of hard-to-see traffic coming off the freeway, and freeway exiters are at the mercy of people who don't notice them in time. People coming off the freeway turn directly in front of cars that are only controlled by a stop sign, not a red/green light. This photo shows a case where the Honda and Jeep could have collided if one hadn't been paying attention. It seems like a bad t-bone crash waiting to happen, and I'm sure it has already. I'm guessing the lack of a light keeps offramp traffic from backing up but it's a risky design.
