Description

The bike lanes on the entire length of 99 from the rotary to the Alford St bridge are unplowed, while the car lanes are completely plowed and salted. This forces bikes to ride with traffic, which usually reaches speeds of 40-50mph. Please take care of this; 99 is also a major bike commuting artery for Chelsea, E Boston, and Malden. Thank you.
