Description

Pedestrian mode is not triggered by the button next to Helena's store on MassAve - it's been like this for about a year. I've called works department, person on the phone has told me it would be fixed few months ago but it wasn't.

Importantly please don't be mislead by triggering from Broadway & Franklin - Pedestrian mode on MassAve & Franklin is in one system with lights on intersection of Broadway & Franklin - if anybody presses a button there 150ft away back, it turns pedestrian light on both Broadway/Franklin and MassAve/Franklin. So please don't be mistaken it might look the button works if someone coincidentally presses the button on that quite distant intersection. Our family with preschoolers crosses this place at least 2 times a day and there's no sidewalk next to the Fire Station to use the working button on the other side of Franklin St. We have to press button on Broadway and Franklin as we finish Broadway crossing so by the time we are at MassAve and Franklin, it triggers to pedestrian again.
