Description
This deli not only sells food but also those nice large 40 ounces of beer. It won't be such an issue if the patrons of Non-Stop Deli won't relieve themselves on 29th Street especially in front of residential homes where there are children. Please help the residents of 29th Street by Non-Stop Deli.

It would help if the owners of The Non Stop Deli would let their patrons use their bathroom after hours of drinking. They have a sign posted on the restroom, stating its out of order, well that has been there for years!

Thanks for posting the pics to show exactly what is occurring. 29th Street is a busy street and Septa 48 and 7 buses use this route daily. These buses are filled with kids and so is it ok for them to see a grown man relieving himself on 29th Street? Would you like to walk up to this and also open your window and see this? How about your toddler look out the window and see this? Is this ok?

I am a resident of 29th and Harper and we also have a large collection of images of residents urinating and defecating on our block, in our gardens (private and community), in our back patios, etc. I would LOVE to see some efforts to change this!!!

As of today 8/23/12 Non Stop Deli does not have a bathroom available for their customers. They do not discourage people from panhandling out front for beer money. They do very little to maintain the outside of their building. They allow visually drunk patrons to drink alcohol outside their business, while allowing them to enter and exit for hours at a time to loiter and urinate in the surrounding neighborhood.. This issue was first published on this site 6/19/12, I am encouraging anyone who is effected by this nuisance stop and go to vote to fix this and call 311 to report them. The more support this issue gets to more chance we have to help this neighborhood thrive and be safe for our families.

I am a resident at 29th & Cambridge and my home's back entrance is at Harper Street and have on a number of occassions screamed at drunkards standing and peeing in the backyard of a neighbor. These non-residents create an unhealthy and unsafe block. By the time one calls the police they have already vacated the area. I do know the 22nd District does police the area......sometimes more often than other times........however, I have never seen the police actually stop and break-up people. Non-Stop Deli is also to blame for no monitoring their area and enforcing the "no loitering" business law unlike other businesses on Girard that often shoo away people loitering and if they don't move the police have been called in. I plan to send this link to the 22nd District in an effort to bring our concerns to their attention.

Could all of you that have pictures please post them to actually show that is occurring and it is a nuisance and also a safety issue for the neighbors? Please do not just let this go. AAMVEE has been trying to fight this issue and she lives directly across from NON STOP with two young children under 4. To do this, we have to gather together as neighbors and a community and get this resolve and show that we do not tolerate such disrespect.

I live on the 2900 block of Harper Street - we regularly see men and some women coming to urinate on our block. Just this morning one of my neighbors and I were standing on the sidewalk talking about our plants and noticed a man urinating. When we were setting up an outdoor movie on our block (in the 29th Street side garden space) for the National Night Out, another man was urinating and then jogged out of the block, pulling his pants up as he went. The smell is disgusting and the children on our block really should not be exposed to drunk people urinating on our block.

This has been an ongoing problem for years and it's time for it to stop. We don't want to see (or smell) the problem anymore. On a recent night I caught, not one, not two but three different people urinating throughout the night and the problem is usually worse in the daytime.

My neighbor across from me had to put in gates just to keep people from urinating and worse in her carport area. We also occasionally find scattered condoms in the garden and carports.

I wonder how many "votes" it will take to get this "cancer" of a business closed? Can anyone expect this community to thrive if people just @#$% and disrespect it? Such a sad situation for the Fairmount and the Brewerytown community :(

On two separate occasions, my three-year old daughter and I saw men urinating right across the street from my home yesterday.
