Description

The valet service on the west side of Webster Street between 22nd and 21st Street consistently leaves cars blocking the bicycle lane illegally. This video is representative of what happens every day, and shows 5 cars parked in the bike lane at one time, basically rendering the bike lane unusable along this entire block. Please work with this valet operator to either move their service to an area where they are not illegally blocking bicycle traffic, and if they are unable to do so then shut them down entirely. The bike lanes along the rest of Webster and Franklin Streets from Broadway to 14th are also chock full of double parkers. Please enforce the parking rules and keep the bike lanes clear for cyclists.
