Description
Several large street trees on Peachtree Center Avenue, adjacent to the Loudermilk Center / ARC, have outgrown the concrete rings at their bases. If this "strangling" continues the trees will sustain injury and risk disease. Normally the solution for this is either removing the "rings" or cutting them back (metal grates are designed for this). The problem is not immediate but if let lie eventually both trees and sidewalk will suffer.
