If you note: as a licensed operator of a vehicle the speed limit is posted 55MPH! Maybe you need eyeglasses endorsed on your liscense or maybe if your doing 30 or less your the road hazard! If your traveling east just under the overpass the speed limit signs says "end 45mph"; if your heading west just a short way from the old post 4-way stop the speed limit sign says "55 mph" - perhaps observing such tips when your on the road would prevent your frustration about people that are paying attention to road signs. That is what was your responsibility to get your liscense but you should still 'read highway 'signs' in any case, even after you acquire the driving privileges: not simply to "PASS" a road test! Agree?
I totally agree with Ma M- Know the road rules- no sign (if you didn't see one) means it's the state speed limit: 55 mph. This is a wide open road with no people living on it. Also, as you apparently are not aware- "End 45" also implies the state speed limit of 55.
