I am a college student living at brookfield gardens. First, my kitchen is constantly flooding. Maintenance tells me its from the AC drain being clogged, and condensation collecting and draining into my kitchen. I have called them out weekly since I moved into my unit end of April seeing as it floods every few days. My rugs are ruined and my place has an awful damp, moldy, water damage smell. Black Mold spores have formed on my floors boards and nothing has been done to resolve my issue. Flooding consequently has my water heater nearly rusted through, and its not sitting in a pan. I have requested a professional HVAC company to service my unit. Second, there is a continental buick parked in front of my townhouse, according to neighbors its been broken down here for years. Wasp live in it and swarm around my place and I cant park near my home. I've complained to leasing and was told it is parked in Richmond city streets and they cannot move it. I've called the non emergency police line to complain numerous times and it is still there. Which brings me to my fourth complaint, there is a food truck that plays loud, obscene, rap music nightly keeping me up at night. The food truck draws large, unsavory, noisy crowds, and illegal activity. I do not feel safe at all in this complex and I am sure my unit is not up to health and building code. For these reasons, and more I want out of my lease immediately.

I have called leasing and maintenance about these concerns weekly since my move in date of April 30, 2015 and my units issues have not been resolved or rectified.
