This alteration to the road has been completely bungled. Traffic was not great on this small stretch of Greensboro Road, but it wasn't that bad. Now it almost unusable during rush hour, especially in the evening. I have sat at the Greensboro and Westpark intersection (which now backs up Greensboro in BOTH directions at least three times as far as it ever used to) and I've watched the light go completely through a cycle without EVER having turned green for the folks like me who are headed towards Tysons II and International Drive. This was caused by the now excessive traffic making a left coming off Greensboro onto Westpark. There are so many cars that now get backed up further than they ever had, so much so that they use up the entire "green on Greensboro" cycle before the go straight traffic coming from the opposite direction even gets a chance to go (this traffic light has long been bad, but now it's off the chart). Please undo this road change as soon as possible. At this point, it makes more sense for me to make a roughly one mile detour to avoid this abomination.
