Description
This Beacon St stretch has been dug up multiple times and is in terrible shape, especially in the bike lane. It has been this way for at least a couple of years.

The reason this request is being closed is because this system is meant to alert the city of issues in need of repair. However, this is an on-going, long-term project that has already been scheduled . Beacon Street will undergo a full-depth reconstruction, which means that crews will dig all the way down to the base layer to completely replace the roadway. The new surface will thus be far less prone to pot-holing than it is currently. Prior to road resurfacing, water and sewer pipes will all be repaired or replaced as well. This work is ongoing through the summer and fall of 2015 and will resume in 2016.
So while a “complete” repaving, or other similarly large requests cannot be done at this time at this location, the city will gladly accept reports of immediate issues that can be addressed with smaller, more immediate actions (e.g. filling a pothole or clearing a catch basin).

Thanks for the details!
Would a temporary re-leveling or repaving of the bike lane be feasible? Unfortunately, this stretch has layers of patches on top of patches creating hazardous riding conditions. Something as simple as a single-level patch along the bike lane would be a big improvement.
