Description
2 problems which have persisted for months are noted below.
1. 2nd level elevator door is jammed and takes excessive force to open. My wife cannot open the elevator door and needs to exit on the 1st or 3rd floor and take the stairs.
2. Fire exit door in the stairwell across from the elevator on the 1st floor (not to be confused with the garage exit) has also been jammed for months and requires excessive force to open.
Again, the wife cannot open either of these 2 doors. I believe this to be caused by the building shifting during one of our last earth quakes. The door to my apartment had a similar problem immediately after the earth quake. As a result, I had to remove the door and shave 1/4th of an inch off of the lower side of the door. Which brings me to my next point of concern being whether this building is retrofitted to withstand earthquakes.
