You need to get these vagrants out of Lake Merritt Park. I have caught them throwing there bagged waste in the lake.

Unbelievable that Oakland keeps putting up with crap. Give these folks a permanent home on a lot somewhere. Stop all excuses. The lake is for all to enjoy not to be trashed by those who could care less.

I won't hold my breath. Needs to be confirmed.

Please re-open this issue -- there are more campers than ever there. I count eleven under the bridge, two tents in Peralta Park, and a handful on the east side of the channel. Mountains of garbage and other waste. First reported nearly six months ago!

This is why u can't trust public works with a closed issue on the homeless, they are either told by someone not to bother them, they don't want to do it or who knows. Libby I heard on the news is still trying to keep flirting with the NFL, so I guess this homeless issue is a non issue. Disgusting.

This needs to remain open till they removed all vagrants camping around Lake Merritt it is not a camp ground.
