Description

The sidewalk on Main Street is closed on the east side from Trumbull to Pleasant, but there is no warning. The closure sign is placed at a point where pedestrians are unable to cross Main -- there is no cross walk at that point. You either have to back track or walk on the narrow strip of sidewalk remaining open, risking falling into the street, and in some places, have to step into the very busy roadway. Who thought of this nonsense? Can we get advance warning so that pedestrians who wish for safer transportation can make that decision?
