Description

The newspaper stand owned by Clear Channel on the Walgreens side of the 16th St BART Plaza is vandelized.-broken covers.
Their used to store homeless items, stolen items and to dump items hidden from the police. One appears to have a black metal fan inside. Unattended and broken the stand is a dangerous place to put pipe bombs or cooker bombs. The stand has more illegal junk in it that the same newspaper stand on the other side of 16th St Station in front of the cleaner Wells Fargo. Keep that danger in mind if you have to be passing thru the walgreenns side. Clear Channel is ultimately liable. Experience tells us the newsstand will not be repaired, replaced or removed. The city dept responsible wont slap a repair notice on it. I hope to god a bomb never goes off inside it but I will roll my eyes when I hear people saying..."I am surprised....that happend in Boston...I never thought it would happen where I live".
