Windwood Drive (one street over) is also in desperate need of repaving. I checked with the City of Dunwoody Public Works department and we're near the top of the list of roads in the worst condition, yet we're not on the schedule for 2015 or 2016. This is ridiculous. What the county has said is that we don't have enough traffic to warrant repaving. Yet Dekalb Sanitation truck and school buses turn around in our street every day. We also had a water leak for two years before Dekalb county finally fixed it and it has undermined the pavement of the whole street.

A prioritized work order is in place for this issue. Repairs will take place according to their priority. Thank you for your patience.

All streets in the city are rated then grouped by neighborhood and prioritized baed on the average rating for the group. The lower the rating, the higher the priority for paving. Lakeside Drive is currently on the paving schedule for 2019. In the interim, we have found that there are several rough areas going up the hill towards Peeler Road. Several of these areas appear to have been caused by tree roots pushing the pavement up rather than a pavement failure. We have marked the area for patching by our maintenance crew this summer.
