About a month and a half ago (July/Aug) road crews from the Town Of Brookhaven showed up to patch up the potholes throughout the neighborhood. After about 5 days of repairs all I can guess is that a supervisor/project manager must have finally showed up, realized how ridiculous the roads looked and the condition they were in and a week later they tore up Manchester Lane down to the dirt to begin repaving the entire road. Now, I am thriled that someone finally had the foresight to realize the roads were so bad that an entire rip had to be completed, I just can't believe that the taxpayers paid for 5+ days of patchwork along with countless manpower hours for a job that was destroyed only days later. Also, why are they repaving Millbrook Dr again (third time in a year)? Somebody has to take responsibilty and start overseeing these contractors. The costs to repair their mistakes are ridiculous. It looks like they are going to come back for a final layer and then the roads will look great.
