Description
'The Local' bar patrons urinating on Beekman Street after closing time.
The bar closes around midnight, then the bar patrons leave and start urinating everywhere-on the sidewalk, behind trees, on the street itself.
Low-class and getting worse.

Or Siro's during the racing season.
Or SPAC during Dave Matthews, Grateful Dead, etc.
I'LL JUST GO RIGHT HERE (Guest)
This issue has not been fixed.
The Local is in the middle of where 2 vicious attacks by MS-13 occurred, one just 2 nights ago.(See Saratogian, 5/22/12 or 5/23/12.
This is out of control and is prompting other seedy behavior also.
There goes the neighborhood!

There's nothing like having a drunk do the gentlemanly thing for his drunk date as she takes a squat on the sidewalk near your house.
IT JUST KEEPS GETTING WORSE! (Guest)
The West Side needs a foot patrol.

Robbery, assault, attempted murder by the international criminals Saratoga Springs has welcomed to "Sanctuary Springs".
It keeps getting better(!) on Beekman Street and immediate West Side vicinity !
More and more people ignoring even cleaning up the poop from their dogs.

Not to start a flaming war here, but Saratoga needs to decide what it wants to be. You can't have the number of bars that they do, catering to the college crowd, and not expect this.
The track brings hundreds of thousands of chronic drunks and people with gambling addictions, which feeds into all these other problems.
SPAC also needs to be very selective on what acts it takes.
I would like to see Saratoga become more like Malibu, where you have very upscale wine bars and resturants catering to the 1% and I would like to see the race tracks and casinos go away.
SPAC should host opera and plays and music for the people that know how to respect others and themselves.
It reminds me of when they had the "woodstock" festival in Catskil, and you saw all those people, out of control, and then you saw the festival at the actual woodstock site, and everyone was well behaved.
Saratoga should not be trying to attract this younger crowd.
Bars should close at 10PM, they are supposed to close at 10PM, unless they are a resturant. That is a county law.
Also, no bar tender is allowed, by law, to let someone get drunk.
Enforcement of these laws would help, but Saratoga needs to get a clear path, and if they want this bad behavior, than get the working people out of the city and let it become like Albany or Schenectady.
