I guess it all depends on what a person thinks is "a reasonable time." Thankfully we live in the country and don't have neighbors dictating to us when and how to look after our yard.

I own two big dogs and just started picking up this week. I would give at least until the end of march before ppl start complaining. People who complain early are often bored of their own lives.

It is ridiculous the things people believe that they can go to the city over. The city's website states that you should try to deal with things neighbour to neighbour first. I have never had a neighbour even try to approach me yet I have had bylaw show up at my house over where we park our cars on the street, the condition of our dog run and even complaints about renos being done on our house. Each and every time bylaw has shown up to inspect the complaint they admitted that they didn't see the cause of the complaint. Each and every time if my so called "neighbour" had come and spoken to me we would have addressed their complaint reasonably. Really, people need to mind their own business a little bit in this town. We try to stay out of other's peoples business, all we ask is that people show the same respect.
