OK this is pretty remarkable, but as it turns out it was just coincidence. Irene Z. asked me to post a message about these particular potholes and the town of Vernon filled them in before the end of the day yesterday.

I spoke with the Public Works Department this morning and was told that an employee also noticed the potholes yesterday and notified a supervisor, who then directed someone to the location. A public works crew already happened to be out filling potholes, so it got done right away, which is fantastic.
