who use the field on the north side of Little Walnut Creek have resorted to mowing this are themselves.
I'd like this property to be reported to the Austin Travis County Health department section which inspects
overgrown areas in the City of Austin

is incomplete. Specifically, the area along the north side of the creek along the trail and the area
in the large detention area which the City is responsible for maintaining was completely mowed
and trimmed. According to the supervisor over park operations,Jeff Larson, this area is Parks and Rec
responsibility and the area on the south part of the creek is the responsibility of Watershed Protection
who is to maintain this area 4X per year which has NEVER been done. So I'm a little perplexed as to
why this area was left in it's current sorry state. Could you please redouble your efforts in taking care
of this matter?

Recently, there was a fire started along Rutland Drive which could have easily spread throughout
the detention area which is covered by dried out brush and old trees with broken branches visible from Rutland. In addition to this area becoming a fire hazard it's a downright eyesore. If I don't see
activity on this property by this method in March I'm going to broadcast this matter to the Austin City council and manager. I'm sure they'll love hearing about this matter when subordinates should be taking care of the situation. Please, redouble your efforts in getting an appropriate party to resolve this
matter.
