The young Marines was founded in Waterbury in 1959. It's first graduating class since it's re-organization in Waterbury was in 2011. It is now national. They work practice and work hard. They give their time and love from their young lives to put their best effort into all that they do. This organization has tracked my sons grades, his behavior at home and at school, and has taught him comradery, selflessness, and about charity. We are disheartened about what has happened right on our green in Waterbury...in plain sight!!! And noone saw this happen??? Seriously, it was a marble bench....you would need a sledge hammer to break it like that.....shame!!!!!
