  Absolutely agree. This problem is more than month. Small bus cannot get through and everything is blocked because of short time on traffic lights on intersection Mc Bride.I believe they are not only local cars but cars coming from blocked intersection Mc Bride and Royal Ave.

  Similar to the days of tolls on the new Port Mann, traffic is diverting into Victoria Hill to detour around the McBride road closure despite signs indicating Local Traffic Only. Posting a few officers to monitor traffic during rush hour and issuing tickets to drivers entering only to exit could provide some immediate relief. The biggest concern with this backlog of traffic is impact on access of emergency services such as the fire department and ambulance. Also a major pain with public transit schedules being heavily impacted and being counter productive to Translink’s increased frequency of the 102.

  Agreed, in addition north bound vehicles on McBride are making illegal U Turns at Memorial to short cut their way onto the bridge

  This is a potential serious risk of injury.

  Agree with all previous comments but specifically the north bound vehicles on McBride making an illegal U Turn at Memorial to short cut their way onto the bridge. This happens all day and is a serious issue not only because the risk of injury but also because some vehicles get wedged in a horizontal blockage across all lanes of traffic.
