Madam Vice Mayor Pittman,
I’m so upset tonight. As we celebrate, honor and remember the reason we celebrate Dr Sistrunk, I get so tired of our brothers and sisters in their actions shown at these events. Before any event take place within the Sistrunk corridor I and many other residents have to prep in securing our property of damage (torn grass, broken sprinklers and damaged hedges). It’s so unfair as homeowners what we go through after the celebration. Participates come out to the festive and destroy, hide(bikes within my hedges) and toss their trash along our dwelling places. Monies have to be spent out on repairing the damages that occur. I’m attaching serval pictures of my hedges that were broken due to visitors parking right in my hedges. If this behavior continues, I’m going to reach out to neighbors to sign petitions to have these celebrations to take place elsewhere (Mills Pond Park). I’m asking who do I reach out to, to replace my hedges.
