Description

Just another reminder that this intersection is a dangerous traffic mess when a train is making its way through town. Bad drivers block the intersection driving West to East by entering without a way to leave the other side. This then clogs up anyone trying to go North or South on Lincoln. I regularly see people crossing into oncoming traffic to get around the cars in the intersection and an accident seems inevitable.

A solution seems straight forward. Change the West/East light earlier when the train signal sequence starts. Even just by 5 seconds or so. Also mark out the East side of the intersection and put signs and enforce the law when people block it. This has been reported many times over many years and it never changes.
