I always have water in front of my house from the sump pump. This brings bugs etc in summer and is unsightly. Rest of neighbors do not have this issue which makes it look worse. Can a drain be installed right where my pump shoots into street? Gas line work is being done soon so perhaps it can be done same time?

Thank you for reaching out with your concern. Unfortunately, while this type of issue is a nuisance, it is a common nuisance all over town, and is not something the town would remedy. It is common for water to puddle in the gutter along the edge of a roadway and it is not of concern for public safety.
